Course description:
This course is for students who are starting the second year of Spanish A-level with Edexcel exam board and would like further preparation and support. The whole course is divided in three modules, one module per term until the last exam papers in June. The The aim of this course is to develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills and to enable students to use the language for practical communication at a Upper intermediate/B2 level. A wide variety of themes and contemporary issues in Spain and Spanish-speaking countries will be used as a basis for general language work. The exam consists of reading, listening and writing papers (including essays), and an oral examination.
By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Communicate with greater confidence in Spanish
- Write more accurately in Spanish
- Compare/contrast aspects of contemporary Spain and Spanish speaking-countries
- Demonstrate an extended knowledge of the grammatical structure of Spanish
- Sit the A-level examination with confidence
